'93 sol si roof ?s
Well as my changed screenname implies I traded my hatch for a sol. However it does have some hopefully only minor problems.
The roof on the driverside doesn't fully lock, the button inside doesn't move at all but it goes into place & partially locks,
the other thing is and this too is lock related, it'll be held in place when it's on but I can still move the driver side of the roof up a little bit so it doesn't fully lock or seal.
Should I replace just the locking mechanism or should I replace the seal too(as far as I know both are original.)

sounds like the lock isnt locking so id replce that... or maybe take it apart and look at why its not fully locking... maybe it just to be lubed up ... seals around the roof arent cheap haha... i know for a fact... i was priced at honda with my buddies discount that worked there and the seals around the roof was around 300 bucks or more..

THey have all the information you need to fix your roof. I found a link there someone had posted on egay selling the roof locks cheap I might add. Good luck. I bought a sol in January and I love it. Hope your comfortable with your masculinity because everyone calls it a gurly car

Lol i loved when people call it a girly car...im on my 3rd one...defiently the greatest honda there is next to the s2000..........My Last had a built ls vtec and precision sc60 turbo kit.....then it got totaled and i parted it all...to start bone stock again.

damn 850?!?!....guess it's a good thing I only have a small leak by where the roof is supposed to lock. I think If I replace the locking mechanism, that miht take care of the leak too.
