Questions about 93 del sol
Hi...I'm about to buy a 93 del sol si...I've heard that the 93 has a lot problem...can anyone tell me what are some of the problems on the 93 that was fix in the 94+ del sol..Thanks..

i have a 93Si. i dont have any problems with mine at all.the only thing i would check is the seals. all del sols have a problem with seals. not just 93. like i said. mine runs like it is new. good luck. your gonna love the car

There's a couple of small differences on the '93 that aren't on other years. For instance, there isn't a trunk release lever inside the car. Also, if I remember correctly, the '93-'94 Sols had worse quality seals for the roof than later years. If you take proper care of them though (lubing the seals) they'll last. My '93 leaked when I first got it, but after a coat of silicon grease, the leaking stopped.

Get a 94 si, Im pretty sure it has a trunk release and the option of power locks, I REALLY wish I had a trunk release.

not having a trunk release is actually somewhat nice. This way, no one can break into my trunk. I know that you can lock the trunk release, but i doubt it's very strong.

No problem with my sol. I have a 93 put 50k on it 2 years. The problems i've had have been with the seals, and not much else. I had to put an engine in it but that was because of me
