Can't get axel into spindel

Default Can't get axel into spindel

So I have 93 civic and I am switching the drivers axle with another oem one but I can't get it through the spindel>

I didnt want to hammer it to much I was afraid of messing something up

are there any tricks to getting it back together

make sure there is no damage to the splines, put a little axle grease in the splines, wiggle it around.

yeah, do what killbot said. slap a little bit of grease on there and sorta wiggle it in till it slips into its place... haha.. this sentence sounds weird.

Check for burrs on the splines too, you may have to file them slightly.
