my car idles up and down untill the car is warm. ive cleaned the iacv and it seemed to stop it for about 3 days, then someone told me iacv olny controls the idle when its warm. what now?

car is a 96 ex turbo chipped p28 but i think its my car not any of my turbo set, up not sure though

My car does that to I asked a local shop, speed merchant, and they said that it might just be the aftermarket stuff.

uhm my car has an exhaust leak and im idling at 0 haha. i dont know wtf is going on it bogs a little as soon as i throw it into neutral. its not very pleasant.

 

Is your iacv wired correctly. Do you hear a buzz near the it?
Have you checked your timing?

Does the idle only become horrible when it warms up.

 

it idles fine when warm

 

my car does that too and it turn out to be the idle control valve. so i think u might need a new idle control valve.
