Boost with bigger injectors..but stock ecu?
alright, I have a D16y8 turbo crx.
I was wondering if me running 390cc injectors would be alright with a stock ecu for a while till i get it tuned and what not? How many psi would be safe? like 5 or so?

Are you saying you want to run the 390's with no management at all? Well if it holds idle which im not so sure it will, then it will still not be safe to run it even at low boost. I would say just wait and get it tuned.
Alright, Here's my setup:
390cc injectors
Aem Fuel pressure regulator
B16a obd-0 pr3 ecu
D16y8 converted to obd0
2 1/4-2 1/2 inch exhaus (cant remember)
DSM 14b turbo
Hf manifold

It would not be smart to run those injectors on a stock ECU. You should have some type of control for them. More than likely you will be running PIG rich and you will have problems.
Do you think a VAFC Would do me any good?
The Ecu is going to cost me 125, the tune 200 for the tuning, but I'd have to get my car trailered up there. (richmond)

This is just a budget build. It's slowly coming together. I won't be running the Y8 turbo for long. I have a H22 im building, and I will be boosting that. I just want to have fun with this for a while, while the other project is coming along. And this IS my first turbo motor, so I want to learn stuff about it, before I drop the H22 in.
