Default Stock honda ecu and injectors?

Hi. Ive been lurking around in the forums and researching. Im in the midst of collecting the parts needed to upgrade my 97 civic ex (d16y8) with a t25 turbo. I remember reading somewhere that i will not have to upgrade the stock injectors, correct? they are 240cc i believe. Since this is my first turbo install I will not be shooting too high and am going for 7 or 8psi and about 200-220 whp. also, i know that upgrading the stock ecu is preferable but the map will recognize the psi? thanks!

Most people upgrade to larger injectors, and for the ecu, they do an OBDI conversion, and buy an OBDI ecu along with a Hondata S300 unit so it can be fully tuned on a dyno so it doesn't run to rich or lean

mmhmm thank you. But these two things are not things that I need to immediately do right? I am going to do both in time, but the stock ecu and injectors will handle the boost correct?

Dude, i would NOT run the risk of running lean on stock injectors....they are made to run the fuel requirements of a stock engine

DO NOT RUN A STOCK ECU OR INJECTORS or u will blow this motor up and yes you do need these things before running it. at least run a base map according to your setup. stock injectors and a FMU will not cut it. this does not change ignition timing as you need to retard timing when boosting. HOLD off on the project until you have everything. if you cut corners u will have more problems.

OMFG!!! Upgrade the injectors AND the fuel pump. Show me where you read that you don't have to upgrade the injectors.

Or better yet, answer me this question. What would the duty cycle for those STOCK injectors be while in boost? And also show me where it says it is okay to run the stock ECU. Would it be safe to run at 100% duty?

The stock ECU is running on a stock MAP. This is the computer on the Enterprise or something. It has NO WAY of knowing that you just stuck a turbocharger on it and will try to account for the change in it's perceived environment using the STOCK MAP!!! GO back and do some more research unless you want to blow up your car.

You do know how a turbo works yes? You're force feeding it more air. With more air you need more fuel. That's should be common knowledge.
