Default B20 in my EK big problem!!

OKI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have tried everything!!!will not turn on!!

it is a b20 motor with in a 97 DX civic.i did the IACV fix. i als had to rewire the injectors to OBD1. i also had to rewire the dist. to OBD1. i have looked over all ot H-T and all over my manual and i have wired everthing right!! motor sounds like it wants to turn on but it wont.sounds like a fuel problem but i dunno.

if i take off my fuel return line nothing comes out. so i replaced the complete fuel rail and nothing.

i unbolted the fuel rail but left the inj. plugged up on it and when i tried to start it, only one shot out but the rest stayed on with no change. so i'm guessing the problem is coming somewhere along there...

i KNOW that that motor was good whenever i took it out of the other car that it was in. also the hatch was running when i took the old motor out. so i'm stumped!! i took off the harness again to see if anything was messed up or if i had hooked something up backwards but everything is right!! i also triple checked and all the injectors are hooked up right..... also i have tried all sorts of ecus and still no luck....

PLEASE someone help me!! i dunno what to do anymore!!!!!!!!!!!

Turn the ignition key on and listen for the fuel pump priming.

Then pull a spark plug wire and check for spark.

If you have no fuel, check the ground thats on the thermostat housing. If that is not on, your fuel pump will not run.
Then check your main relay.

If its a spark problem, its probably the ICM or coil

Here's a dumb question...is your battery fully charged or did you put it on the cement during the swap. Doing this will cause the battery to lose it's charge.

also, if the fuel isn't priming, always check your main relay, and make sure its getting power, and if it is make sure it is still in working order. we had a very similair problem puttin in a b18a into a buddies car of mine.

If the fuel pump is priming, dont worry about the main relay.

Fix your spark problem.

Sounds like a spark/timing issue.
