I'm running a Stock B20B with a Stock B16 Head, and I only rev it to 8,000. I dont dare to do anymore than that.

Yeah man, i wouldn't rev much over 8k...maximum at 8.5k anywhere after that on a stock b20 and stock head, without sleeving, or aftermarket valve springs is just begging for the motor to blow up in your face. You should go pick up an ls block from the junkyard, sleeve it and build it up a bit and toss it in your crv. It would definately be unique...

valves arent the issue...its the rods i wouldnt take a stock b20/b18b bottom end to 8000 without at least arp rod bolts...
