There is a hole inside the inner fenderwell on the driver's side. It runs through there. Then it just goes up over the wheel arch, and then into the bay. It's really quite easy.

Those lockable hood pins are ****, I know a guy who had them and the lock jammed and he couldnt open his hood .... had to drill the lock out to get his hood open .....

They look big and ugly too.

uhh, why is everyone hating on hood locks? its another layer of secruity, sure they are easy to bypass, but still something else to slow them down. But hey thats just me, and they are fun to install lemme tell you

most people that have hood pins have a fiberglass or carbon hood if someone wanted to open all they would have to do is pull, the hood itself would break right off without much force, If you are that worried just use regular pins and if parked put a small luggage lock through instead of the pin, I wouldnt trust those locks for driving
use something like this these are what I have

and if you are really worried use some locks when parked. this pic has a pink one it must be JDM

If someone was stupid enough to not read the package then they deserve that. They say, "No to be used in substitute for a hood latch"

You need the factory hood latch or some proper hood pins in conjunstion with the NRG or NRG replica locks.

they put those on the package to save their asses. Just like how almost every piece of aftermarket equipment is ment for "off road" use only.
Have you ever had hood locks/ pins? They work fine without the original latch. Install them correctly and get a good set and you'll be fine. The only time the hood flies up is when you forget to lock them.
