hood stuck shut
does anyone know how to get a hood "unstuck". the latching mechanism seems to be damaged, and when i lift up on the hood latch in the car it makes like a grinding kinda noise... i tried prying it open but ended up making a small dent in my hood

Re: hood stuck shut (obuhmyuh)
You could either...
A - Get a set of needle nose pliers and try to pull on the cable from behind the hood release latch...
or
B - Have someone try prying it open while you pull on the latch...

No problem man... I've had this happen before, ended up just going to junkyard and taking the whole latch assembly for $5 bucks off another coupe... But yeah give it a shot when u have an extra hand around and that should give you the leverage ya need.. GL
