i got a turboed d16 , fuel fmu, aem fuel rail and such.. well anyway i got on her hard and now i think it is blown i hear a taping but it doesnt sound like a baring sounds.. so i donno still runs and all but just this sound i have extra parts (EI block, Head,) do u think it is my vtec open at low rpm? maybe i donno im trying anything before i say its blown hope u guys can help thanks!

we really don't have enough info to help you out. try to determine where in the engine the sound is coming from with a stethoscope, and go from there

 

blower motor. what are you talkin a bout ur ac system or condesor fan or rad fan ?

sounds like rod knock to me

 

how hard is it to fix a rod knock? ( since i got the car my timing has been messed up i have the dizzy mounted with the bolts on the outside of the dizzy ears... and i have been tryin to figure out why... what sensors change the ecu's timing? do u think this sound could be pre ignition knock or whatever its called?
