Default no rush or wheelspin in my turbo lude......wtf??????

I have a 97 turbo prelude with a f-max kit .48exh turbo controlled by the mf2 (yes I know). The a/f ratios are at 11.5 11.6 under boost. For some reason there is no rush on the car until after 4300rpm....... I get no torque steer or wheelspin what so ever???? I feel like Im waiting for the car to pull and then all of a sudden it just kicks in??? Ill downshift from 3rd to 2nd going about 40mph and punch it and NO WHEELSPIN OR TORQUE STEER.......it just gradualy picks up speed toward the higher rpm's....... any help please. Is this a tuning issue??? maybe a transmission issue???? dont flame, im just askng for peoples input. THANKS.

Try running more boost and remember to get it tuned.

yeah, but no wheel spin or torque steer whatsoever??? I dont think its turbo lag..... this is a small turbo (i know that there is some lag but, this is too much for this size turbo). There is a hicup and then it just go's..... I really dont feel the rush is what im saying..

Might be a retarded suggestion, but did you ever think about your clutch? How old is it? Might want to get it scanned (Auto X-Ray Ext.) if you havn't upgraded your cluch already and see if there is any existing or pending drivetrain codes? My brothers car did the same thing when he had a stock clutch...

But @ the same time, have you ever been in another Lude running 8psi to compare it to? 8psi isn't much, and your not going to feel it "pull all the way to redline" off that kind of boost level.. It should pull semi-hard mid-range then deffinately flatten out on top. Once again just my experiance's with what your explaining as the "rush" with 8psi.

And lastly, with your boost level your not going to make enough power to spin your tire's on a downshift. That's something not common untill about 400+ WHP. I'm sure your probably putting down a little over half that. Around 240whp? Wheel spin or TQ. Streer isn't a problem with this amount of HP/TQ.

Correct me if I'm wrong but why do you wanna loose traction so bad? We all work hard to get it.. ROFL Kinda Sacrelegious if you ask me..

cuz turbo preludes are the suckkkkkk

just like everyone else said get it tuned asap. lol its kinda funny you want/asking for wheelspin, but i know you feel it should be there cuz the car is making a little power over stock

i have a turbo 5th gen too a little more power but yeah... welcome to the family

car is tuned with the mf2( I know dont flame me..) boost is solid at 8 psi theres no drop off. The clutch is a act clutch.... it a little old 9-10 months, maybe this could be a possibilty of were the problem is occuring. Im not craving wheelspin or torque steer its just like JOHN D said i feel like it should be there.

I had a greedy kit on this car before this turbo kit.....and I liked it cause it had really good low to mid range power........ but it would drop off horribly in the top end! (due to the small 18g running at of gas at higher speeds) I never had any issues with the kit it would not hesitate and i would get crazy wheelspin and torque steer.... I GUESS I JUST NEED TO GET A EMS WITH MORE "CONTROL" AND THEN SEE WHERE IM AT. Ill see how bad the clutch is as well ...... thanks for all of your input

When you say there is no rush.... are you talking about
A: Getting pulled into your seat...
B: Watching everything go flying by like in F&F? NAWS!!!!

Sounds to me like you need a better tune and bigger turbo.
Most people who boost always want more after a while....
