Default car is bogging

hi my type r brothers, my car has been boggin out alot this passed month. the car runs fine sometimes and after i go after a complete stops it bogs out on first gear like its not giving any gas...and it gives me that stop and go, stop and go kind of jerk like a beginner stick shift drivers would do on first gear....what could be the problem? could it be my gas cap? because everytime when i remove the gas cap ibefroe filing up my gas tank it doesnt shoots out any air like other car does.... that "pshhhh" air release sound....could that be the problem? ive tried using fuel injectors cleaner but still gives me the problem.....

please help thanks

I don't think it's your gas cap. It is normal to have the sound you described. If you had an ignition problem attributed to the plug wires or the distributor, I'd think you'd experience more frequently than only at stops.

Possibly a vacuum issue? Do you have a fluctuating idle?

This sounds like a problem I experienced a few months back. Dave-ROR suggested I check the ignitor. So not wanting to take my distributor apart to replace the ignitor, I bought an entire new distributor and the problem was solved.

if you never replaced cap rotor, then do that first.
