Default bad gas milage when cold

When it is cold my gas milage is terrible, the car never seems to warm up. Would this be a themostat problem?

yeah. Also check and see if your coolant needs to be bleeded. I was having the same problem and after I changed my thermestat, I was still getting the same problem. I found out that I had too much pure coolant and it was not diluted enough. Just make sure all of those things are cool.
