that's just normal.
a) the car takes longer to get fully warmed up, during that warming up period, it sucks gas like a thirsty scotsman ale.
b) i betcha use more power-draining features of the car, when it's cold - like the heatable rear windshield, the a/c on max heat, which leads me to
c) if you use the a/c's heating function, the device changing cold air into warm (don't recall the english phrase for it, should be something like heat-swapper) uses the heat your engine already has built up, thus further increasing the timespan your engine need to warm up, so you can start at point a) again

What?

When it gets cold out your air pressure in your tires will drop. Add more air accordingly. Also your car will take longer to warm up in and when warming up it is usually in a rich cycle. Air is denser when cold. You usually go through the drive through more offten when cold...blah blah blah. If you live in a winter climate you can expect up to a 25% increase.
