Default window seal

Yeah I'm not sure if this belongs in apperance and cosmetics...iono it's more of a technical problem, as you can see from the pictures:

Obviously you see the problem, that's the front of the window seal, where the mirror is (on the driver's side)..how the hell do I fix this? I'm not even sure what the problem is? I assume there's slack in the seal therefore it's bunched up there...but I'm not positive and I have no idea how to fix it..

Any help is thx...

EDIT:
No water is leaking through there...it's just ugly as hell...****** tumor on my car..

go to the dealership and pick up a new one. pull off the old one, make sure their is no residue left, if so clean it, then install the new one.

It looks like the seal is just bunched up..like there's more slack but it's just not pulled down all the way..but u guys are saying the window seal is completely fucked and I need a new one??

Alright...umm..first of all how do I "access" the weather strip to remove or connect the seal to the window...is it just what u see is what is there or does it go down into the door? If I was to remove it (the proper way) would I just pry it out and rip it off and then if I was to install a new one I'd need a special compound that'll adhear the seal to the door frame? Or can I remove a part of the door an access this thing?

It's weird, like I said, it really looks like there's too much slack in it and it jsut needs to be pulled down...it's nto leaking or anythign, it's jsut ugly as hell...

hcivic99, how much can u get the seal for? I found this http://oem.overnightautoparts....=true
but I dunno what's OEM or not unless it's from honda inc, y'kno? How much could u get it for in case I want to buy a new one? If it's like 100 bucks expletive that ****, it's ugly but it's not leaking...

So...

- how much does an OEM one cost with ur employee discount?

- How would I go about removing/putting it on and can it be adjusted if that's just slack?

- is it a pain in the *** to do and if I don't do it right it's goign to leak all over the place and be a big problem?

- what's it's deal? is it just held on by the two pieces of metal? Is it glued on? How deep into the door does it go & how do I access it?

Thx for ur help, more is appreciated thx

Mine was doing that after some ******** broke into it. Since I had the door panels off recently any way, i Decided to fix it. That rubber sits in the metal track for the window. Just grab a piece at the bottom and tug it back down. Mine doesn't look perfect, but it was sitting in the wrong position for a couple years. I figure it will adjust itself back to normal sooner or later.

How do I get to the bottom? Take the inside door panel off?

Yes, take the panel off. Remove the white plastic sheet. On the right you'll see the window track with the seal.

I took it and pulled it down a bit, took it off the window track, shimmied it on down, it doesn't fit right b/c it's kinda fucked up at the corner (by the window, in the picture I shows), but it looks hella better than what it did... Won't look perfect unless a get a new gasket, but I don't need it perfect, I just needed it not 1 inch pried away from the window

Thx all
