ok my 93 ls will not go pass 6000k it runs strong untill i get to 6k and then it bogs out like my powers gone what can it be.

ps when im in the driveway at idle it will go to 7200k redline good no lag

i wont rev past 6k under load probably because its not getting enough fuel. i would check your TPS and see if its giving the correct signal. if so move to the injectors maybe run some clearner through them. and also see if you cat smells at all. if it smells it could be going bad and causing some restriction under load.

 

bump i just gonna get a new cat cause i got to smog my car soon

 

try a tune up

 

if the cat isnt messed up then your just wasting your money
