CAT help magnaflow

Icon2 CAT help magnaflow

ok so my 94 civic 4door didnt pass smog so i figure id starte with the cat first since it look like that could be the issue since my HC and No failed. i recently purchase a magnaflow direct fit Cat now researching i hear good and bad things about this decision so i figured id asked the pros and c what u guys say. the way i see it either way it goe wether i weld it or not it cost the same some let me me know i would appreciate it. O and im from cali

Is the car stock? How off were the numbers? Did you fail at idle or under load?

No point replacing the cat if that's not the problem. You might have something as simple as a stuck thermostat.
