Default Brake caliper questionW

Will the front calipers from a 94 integra fit a 93 civic ex?

Thank you.

Yes, they will bolt right on.

If your EX is a 4-door, you already have the exact same calipers as the Integra (17CL14VN). If your EX is a 2-door, the Integra calipers will have slightly larger pistons than your stock calipers so it will be a minor upgrade.

Nope, all EXes have 10.3" front brakes so he will be fine.

I am more concerned with the mounting holes matching.

Yes, I looked up the part numbers before I posted. The 92-93 had different numbers from the 94-95. The 94-95 had the same part numbers as the Integra.

They will bolt right up, because the '92-95 EX and '94-01 Integra use the same knuckle.

Well, if he has an EX-S or EX-ABS then he'll have the same knuckle. Otherwise the 1993 Civic EX does not have the same knuckle as the Integra.

Yes it does. I owned a '93 EX coupe (non S package). It had 10.3" front rotors and 16CL14VN calipers. Rears were drum.

No Civic EX has ever been made with rotors smaller than 10.3" since the trim level's introduction in 1990.

Ok, I might be confused with the Si. For sure the 92-93 Si's had 9.5" rotors.

That's correct. All '92-95 Si hatchbacks had 9.5" fronts except for the '94 Si-ABS, which had Integra brakes.

EX != Si
