AIte i was wondering if a messed up tranny can make your car have a clicking sound. I have changed the axle 2 times with hasport axles cause i thought it was messed up and now it clicks but my tranny is messed up and i also changed the shocks in the front of the car ?? wut u guys think ??? or can it be a WHEEL BEARING GOING BAD ??

 

Jack up your car and feel for play in the wheels... if there is play when you shake it at 3 and 9 oclock it could be tierods, steering rack, crossmember related. If there is play at 12 and 6 oclock when you shake it check balljoints. Wheel bearings dont go bad to often...
Also Have some watch to see where the slop is, helps pinpointing the problem...

Does it always make noise whenever you moving or just turning, in gear, or what...

 

most of the time it is CLICKING when i turn right but then i changed my axles out 2 and sended it back to hasport and got new olds back and it still making that clicking noise but then my tranny is messed up and itz grinding 3rd on high RPMS
but that clicking noise is coming from the right side for sure i been trying to figure that sound out for months now and still i dont know
