I might buy a car with this motor in an EG hatchback. How much power is this motor making and what would it run in the 1/4 if in an EG hatchback?

It all depends on who built it and how it was put together. if you had two identical motors with identical mods... it doesnt mean that HP will be the same. The better tuned car will run better.
Also.. what R parts are you reffering too? P73 pistons? USDM or JDM cams? What year are the parts from? It all makes a difference..

 

My LS/VTEC with USDM Type-R pistons,Type-R cams,Type-R intake manifold, and a B16 head had 174.5 whp and 126 fp torque. The setup you are describing is pretty close to mine , so it should be in the same ballpark.

 

friend of mine had that set up before with portflow P&P and on an EG he ran (slick down) at pomona 12.6 , and 12.7 .
