High Flow Cat/Check Engine light problem
Hey, i have a high flow cat on my 00 Si and i keep getting a engine code of a "faulty cat." how do i get rid of this code? I tried resetting the ECU several times. no luck. please help me!
i dont think resetting the ECU will do anithing..maybe an o2 simulator?..cause the sensor is reading differently now that you have a high flow cat in..doubt its street legal?
Sounds like you might need a o2 simulator like above, since your car is reading the new flow as though your cat has gone bad, did you use a generic or a brand cat?

Most "high-flow" cats are illegal test pipes with no catalyst in them. I used the Carsound cat:

It is a real catalytic converter, has a correct mid-bed port for your 02 sensor, and costs $69.95:

This worked fine on my EM1.
