car wont start
k its a del sol si with b18c complete swap... i just drove from virginia to north carolina appr. 250 miles and after getting to nc i went to my room and came out to go start my car after 2 hours and the car clicked once and does nothing now... the lights were not left on and the lights dont turn on ...
how would the battery be dead? its an optima yellow top i didnt even leave the lights running.. i do have a stereo system... hum... alright ill try that

I have heard alot of those batteries being duds...
do a search on here, for optima or something.. I'm sure others have had problems like you

so yea i went to advance and had the battery tested it was showing get this 17 CCA lol the battery was DONE so i got a new battery and its good now... i think my alternator couldnt keep up with the systems amplifer and battery on the long trip...

Umm, you might wanna consider getting a compacitor or two so ur super stereo system doesn't kill ur main (like this one) - because it's obvious taht ur alternator can't keep up with charging at the rate that you're draining (that's why it went out on a long trip like this, you were probably listening to the radio most if not all of the time.. Definately consider one or two of those, great investment... They make really in-depth ones too, like my friend's got one with like this god knows how many amp stereo system and it works so that like if you turn ur headlights on it automatically turns the stereo system down to the poitn where ur not draining as much as it's charging (good idea in my opinion)..
