i get a tick tick sound when i' m slowing down to a junction. i only get it when i'm slowing gradually but when i'm braking really hard i dont hear it, anybody else have this noise (it comes from the back of the car)

 

Are brake pads old? There is a little metal tab on brake pads the scrapes against the rotor when the brakes wear down to a certain point to let ya know you need to replace them soon.

 

there seems to be plenty of material left, the ticking sound slows down when the car slows down
