Default K20A2 swap into EP3

i was wonder how do i get the shifter to stay on the dash, people have told me that u have to dissassemble tha shift assembly and cut out or ground off the travel stop.I have no clue what that means though.does n e body know how to do it ?

All they're saying is that there's a little piece within the shifter mechanism that you'd likely need to grind down to allow the shifter to go to the new 6-speed reverse gear. Some haven't needed to do it, but it should be part of the swap plans.

The shifter stays in the dash, right where God and Nature intended.

You could also get a Buddy Club short shifter kit, which is designed for the 6-speed in the first place and does a good job of making even shorter throws.

i did a a2 swap into my buddies ep for him and he had neuspeed short shifter adapter and we never had to shave the shifter in the dash at all and he has never had any problems with it...

Oh wow i didnt know that thanx a lot for the information this should make the swap a lot easier for me.Oh another question i had was would i have to do the same thing if i were to swap the K20A type-R into my Ep3?And how do i put a LSD in also.because i use to have a RSX-s untill i flipped it .so i really never had to worrie about swaps

Same thing with the tranny, yup. I'd also use KPro instead of the K20A's ECU just for the sake of being able to plug into OBDII emissions scanners.
