That is barely understandable. You won't get beaten by a stock neon. If you do, sell your car. You don't deserve it.

Actually, the neon he is talking about will beat a decent amount of preludes. 2.4 l with a turbo, which is good for 205 hp stock. They are claiming 0-60 in under 6 secs. Since it's going to be around $20k, I am thinking a decent amount of people are going to buy these and think they are badasses. The sad thing is they will actually have a decently fast car. I'm not too worried personally though

The SRT-4 is a different story, you know times are changing when a POS Neon is coming with 205 Hp. Now they are fast and ugly.

with every new year and every new model.

the prelude and the h22a lag more and more.

this is just another example. a neon with modest mods will be whipping our buts. so sad!

the neon r/t's are fairly quick also. a buddy of mine has one with just a clutch, exhaust, intake, header, underdrive pulley, and ign system and he ran a 14.8 on the quarter with drag radials. first i thought neons were just plain gay, but after seeing what some of them can do i have earned a bit more respect for them. but cmon, its a neon. how much can you respect them, hehehe. also, if you have the 4th gen 2.2vtec, you really dont have to worry about losing. if you wanna insure your victory, all you need is intake, header, exhaust, spark plug wires, and a type r sticker. haha, just kidding about the sticker.
