Just installed it tonight and can get everything to work but my tach. I have a green wire on the back that does not seem to have a place to go is this related to tach? My car didnt hav Tach originally so i figured the yellow 3 wire plug would be my tach wires, but any help would be great

 

the dx didnt come with a tach on the cluster but it still had the tach wiring.. i did this as well to my dx and it is working fine..

 

did yours have a green wire? it was seperated from the 3 plugs and was sodered to the back of the board on the heat/fuel side of the cluster. If so what wire do i hook it too on my harness? Or is there a wire that is hiding?

It should be a direct, nothing "should" be hiding. Could it be possible the tach is busted?
Did you just buy this?

everything should already be on the harness. just a plug - n - play. if the tach is not working, then it's the tach, not the wiring.

 

yes it is the whole problem get the green plug plugged in and you will have the rpm.

 

I have all 3 plugs plugged in, but there is anotyher green wire all by itself that looks factory sodered to the back of the cluster..I will takes some pics and put them up on monday. And yes i just bought the cluster. Any fuses that are for the Tach?. All the other lights/guages work fine
