i have an '02 accord 6 cyl. with 74 k miles on it.. my car will start but will die after it drops below 1000 prm.. unless i keep revving it any idea what it can be?

 

look under the hood, check all the sensors and make sure nothing is disconnected, I'd check the MAP sensor first. I take it you're not throwing a CEL.

There's too many possibilitys to determine what it could be, anything from your car battery to a jacked up sensor, so you'll need to explain exactly when it dies and different variations.

umm.. that's pretty much umm it.. i start it.. and it dies below 1500 rpm. it won't stay on.. *sighs.. it's not the battery because it was jsut replaced umm 2 days before it happened.. not sensors either.. idle control valve.. maybe.. idle plates.. dunno..
