Default Power Window Problem

im no car guru to say the least, but today in my 94 accord, my power window would not come up. instead, and metal wire came out, and would go back down upon pressing the switch. that being said, i have done quite a bit of googling, and it appears i need a new regulator.

I know how to remove my door panel, but am unsure about the next step(s). are there any good graphical tutorials i could use or any other good resources that might be helpful in replacing this? How difficult is it?

All advice and comments are welcome. Thank you in advance.

1. Remove:
Door panel
Plastic cover
2. Driver's:
Remove the power window switch from the door
panel, then connect it to the door harness (see page
20-26).
3. Carefully move the glass until you can see the bolts,
then remove them.
NOTE: Take care not to drop the glass inside the
door.
4. Carefully pull the glass out through the window
slot.
NOTE: Take care not to drop the glass inside the
door.
5. Disconnect the connector, then remove the regulator
through the center hole in the door. (remove the bolts securing the regulator and motor)

my window goes about half way up pretty steady,

I have to go outside of the car and guide it right
