Default radiator problem on my eg.

Need your help once again eg experts!

I have a 2000 ex motor in my eg hb, the problem I have when I bought the car last year was the radiator fan not turning on, I had one of my boys look at the wiring and he said the "male" part of the wiring harness is fried, so my only question is, do I need to replace it with an obd1 or obd2 wiring? Please please please give me some info here. Thx.

thats my question, since I have a 2000 ex motor in my car does that effect the radiator wiring as well? See where I'm getting at??? So basically the motor I have is obd2 and wouldn't make sense that the radiator I have as well would be obd2 as well or not? That is what confuses me????
