wiring for smog legal swap?
im in the process of making my car CA smog legal and getting a BAR label. my main problem that i see myself facing when getting to everything is the wiring required.
I have a 92EG hatch with a USDM ITR motor.
so i know i will need to convert all to OBD2 but what exactly does it entail for the ecu wiring and wiring in the secondary o2 sensor.
do i need to repin some wires for the new ecu?
is there an aftermarket jumper wiring harness for obd1 to obd2?
all the help would be great.

don't forget the evaporative components that you will have to install in order to get BAR certified tag. you will need to add the DLC connector,2nd O2 sensor,FTP sensor,an obd2 catalityc converter for that year/model engine.

ive got an obd2 cat from the same year model car to use and i knew about the 2nd o2 sensor
how would i go about wiring in the DLC? i know i need it but what do i need and need to do to get it functional?
also whats the FTD sensor? im not familiar with the term, maybe im just sleepy and its not coming to me.
thanks for the help

the FTP sensor is the Fuel Tank Pressure sensor which measures the intank pressure to monitor the evaporative components in case therels a leak. with out it you wont pass the visual and definately the functional part of it, the DLC can be just wired following its connection points at the ecu and other locations according to the service manual.
