Default my civic bogs

hey guys, like the title says my civic bogs.....alot..when ever Iam in low rpms it bogs till i get to like 3500...my car sounds as if it were diesel or some type of tractor. Iv had this problem before and it turned out to be the distributor. my rotor was messed up. so as soon as this started again i changed my whole distributor. momoents later my car still boged. then i went and got an oil change......still bogs...now i have beend told it could be the injectors...does anyone have any idea what this could be.. i need help fast, my gas milage has gone down to like 20mpg. any hepl would be greatly appreceited.

First do a tune up, plugs, wires, fuel filter, etc. When you do your plugs, see how they look. PLUGS WILL NOT LIE!!!!!! If your car is running rich, they will show. You might have a failing o2 sensor, as well.

it starts to idle really high jumping to about 3500 but then settles at about 1000

Check your plugs, but I don't think you're running rich. You'd have a low idle.

Otherwise just do a normal tune up, plugs, cap, dist (done), and wires.

By the way, does the car sound like a WRX?

Fuel pump was a problem in my 93 DX. My car acted just like you said yours did too. Did you do a motor swap by chance?
