ok i got a 96 ex civic it got stolen then found striped. im puting back together.
got the engine and ecu and trans all jdm. the ecu is jdm p 30 the engine is obd1. i fig i would buy a obd 1 wirring harrness when i got it, the connetors that go to the ecu r diff so i fig that its a usdm wirring harrness so i fig it has its deff in some ways. now im not sure if i should get a obd 2 wirring harrness cuz the connectors on the obd 2 harrness look like they plug right up to the ecu. i know i have to get the obd 2 to obd 1 conversoin harnness thats not the issue. the issue is that i dont know what wirring harness i should use? a factory 96 ex obd 2 wirring harrness and this kid i know is selling an obd2 wirring harrness but its from a 99 si so im not sure if that would work as well since the ex wirring harnness is single cam to the si harnness were its dual cam. im trying to make it clean and easy as posible. and if anyone can tell me the diff from a obd2a and obd2b ? and would i be able to use obd2b ?

use a 96-98 ex harness and then buy an obd2a to obd1 conversion harness. if your ecu is an obd1
If your ecu is obd2 then you dont need tha conversion harness

 

ok does it mater if its jdm someone told me that i had to change the fuel injectors and the distributor since its jdm? well thanx for the input do i need to run any extra wires since the the 96 wiring harness is for a single over head cam im not sure if their is an extra sensor for the duel cams?
