the car just died on him while he was cruising. now when he cranks it, you hear a strong pop and the dash ligts get dim and sometimes.i hear clicking form the main relay area, occasionally

but fuel pump is priming.

ocasianally the motor will almost crank. like 1 in 15 tries.

i dont konw what to check for.

we tried push starting but the wheels just locked up when he let go of the clutch.

any suggestions

if the tires locked when u pushed it, you didn't push it fast enough to turn it over...

Make sure ur getting a spark, you can check this by pulling the plug wire and holding against anything that it'll ground against, you'll see the spark jump from the plug wire to the metal..

 

the car was goin pretty fast. what im saying is the tires screamed like it was braking hard

 

um the car is not getting anythign. it acts like the battery is dead when you try to crank it. nothing happens, but the horn works and lights go on. we tried pushstarts jumpstarts everything!!!

Sounds like the engine is siezed.

Word....if it locked after pushing it as hard as u claimed...Blah....it could be possibly seized

 

well how do i unsieze it&gt;? i dumped the oil and so no metal fragments. i dont konw what that means but i think thats good?
