Write up on how to remove air conditioning?
i dunno, i just started unbolting stuff. Mine didn't work anyway. But if yours does, why in the world would you wanna take it off? You'd get pelted with rocks if you if you wanted to take off your WORKING AC down here in texas.

I'm getting a manifold that doesn't work with a/c. But yeah, it's pretty hot.

first off do it somewhere where noone can see you if it does work because r-12 is a cfc refrigerant and probly is wats in your car and there is a reward for turning people in who vent it into open air you have to recover it into a cylinder (up to 10000$) but after you get that part over with just take your condenser out (if you have the half radiator) and start unclamping/bolting the refrigereant lines take out the compressor and your done
Ok first things first:
Do this in a garage or somewhere where no one is around and you have a good airflow. Start by unbolting the right most fitting the condensor and be prepared to step back quickly, refrigerant is going to come out. DO NOT breathe it in, unbolt until it starts to hiss and walk away. It can take up to 2 hours to drain out depending on how much you loosen the fitting. Once this is done, remove the fitting completely and start unbolting the lines. You can take every piece of the AC system off the car (cept the blower motor) without removing anything significant but the front bumper cover. Don't forget the dryer unit is located under the driver's side wheel well and looks like an oversized aluminum can..this will need to go as well
It's pretty self explanatory, just follow the metal lines and unbolt where you see nuts/bolts. The larger line on the passenger side is 2 pieces, you will see where it unbolts (splits in 2 pieces) right around the wheel well

un bolt and remove everything located or attachtded to the radiator looking thing on the driver side. hope thats simple enough for you.

If you were my friend I'd stab you in the neck. Its like a billion degrees outside right now. One of my friends wanted to take his working ac out of his civic and we quickly sarificed him to the car gods and scavenged parts off his car.
