Does anyone take there A/C off for the winter?
Just wondering if anyone else goes through the trouble of adding removing the A/C system during the summer/winter months.

Hell no, What would any one do that? You can use A/C air in the winter when your windows get fogged if it's raining.

thats the dumbest question i have ever heard.. First off, you need A/C to "unfog" your windows.. Second off, why would you ever want to LOSE weight during winter? You gonna be racing around in the snow? I did that once and it cost me 500 dollars. Third off, When you are driving around with the windows up because it is FREAKING COLD outside, it gets pretty damn hot in the car without A/C..
Maybe you should have taken the blue pill sir..

taking out your ac is dumb. ps is great if you have the area where you live, and don't mind parking taking 40 mins for a 3 point turn. KEEP THE AC.. 50lbs is nothing.. take out the washer engines and get some lca's from hybrid garage and save 60lbs

if you want to remove it, do so. who gives a ****......a/c, no a/c.......... it's not just about weight reduction, not only do you have the weight, you also have the tension from the belts riding on the crank and it also affects your electrical system as far as pulling a heavier load from the altenator..........and for all that is going to flame on that statement.....go pick up a book and read up on engines.......rookies.........

hours of labor work for that? and when springs comes around then what?
more back breaking labor + the cost of recharging the AC? great job.
its either you have it or you dont, not have it during summer and off
when winter hits. for even thinking about this lame ****.

Ya, what is the difference if you don't drive in the snow. I have never been flamed so hard in one post before. I guess everyone here isn't as hardcore as me.

a/c? what's that?
i've survived 6 years of year-round driving in VA (we see extreme cold and hot) without it... i guess i don't know what life is like with it so i really don't care, perhaps i'm an idiot...
