Hey guys whats up. My friend blew his d16 so he bought a zc sohc and he said it has 140hp is that really the numbers out of that motor. Anyway my real question is what is a zc sohc because im in to the b-series and i dont know anything about the d- series.

which zc vtec or non vtec ??& for hp tell your friend he's full of ****

 

yeah he put the zc sohc non vtec in to his crx. He said i have 140hp now and im like the d16 that he blew up because he drives like an asshat racing had only 110hp. He is so fucked up.

 

He also converted the zc to a fuel injected engine by using the intake mani and the injectors and the rest of the fuel system. Would that gain any (hp).

So the stock motor in a 91 crx hatch back is a d16 dont those have 110. So if im right he only gained 10 more horse power. If vtec was hooked up then he would have like 130 right. So your sayin that 120 at the wheels or at the crank.

Alright so really he is getting only 100whp. He also ran a 15.8 at the track after the new motor was put in. So I would say thats very good on a stock new motor in a crx.
