Default Keeping Elec Boost Gauge Calibrated.

Got it all hooked up and all those wires stuffed back in there and then realized the red wire is supposed to stay on a power source even when starting the vehicle. Where can I tap into for that? I was thinking maybe the fuel pump?

just use a volt meter to test on the fuse box for a constant 12v, and hook that wire up there. the other 2 common places to find 12v+ all the time is the memory wire for the radio or the cig lighter.

I can't use memory wire though, it needs to get power when I turn the car to on and keep it while starting the car.

you need to get a test light ($9.95 at most auto stores for a chepo) and turn your key on the ignition 1 click.
now start checking the wires on the steering colom and find one that is light up. then turn the key off. if the light goies out whil still golding the tester to the wire and then you turn the key 1 click and it turns on, your set.

I am at work and dont have the picture handy, but there are 5 spots on the underdash fusebox. One is for 12v when the lights are on, one is for 12v when the ignition is on, and one is for 12v all the time. I believe the 12v constant is to the left

Use a multimeter and find out, not hard at all
