Radio switching off when lights turn on.

Radio switching off when lights turn on.
I found the constant live wire, hooked that up to my yellow located on stereo system. I found the ignition live wire and hooked that up to my red wire and also found my ground wire. Nothing else has been hooked up. Speakers are not connected yet . No wires are touching each other. The only wires connected are the power wires. Go turn the lights on and power on stereo system turns off. By the wire it's just straight wires no harness etc. Does anyone know what maybe causing me the headache?

I even put in a stronger fuse but down where the fuse box is located nearest drivers door under dash. My ignition wire is red with black stripe. I know this as I used a light tester. I earthed the light testers earthing wire and located a live wire. I kept the light tester on it and while turning the ignition on and off, I watched to see if the the testing light did the same, and it did.

Re: Radio switching off when lights turn on.
I've seen this exact problem 2 times, I can't remember what kind of Honda it was but the problem was a bad ground cluster on the left front. In both cases, unscewed it, cleaned it up, put it back together and all back to normal. Not sure what car you have. You gotta sit down with the manual and figure it out, Or google for an answer. Anyway, I hope that helps.
