Default bogging when idle a minute..

If i stop at a long redlight, then try to take off, my rex feels like its taking off in 3rd but after i give it some more gas it will go away and drive normally.. i took my rex to get a full tune-up and smog(passed perfectly) and the mechanic said he thinks its one of the injectors that are going bad.. what do you guys think? i was told by my friend to buy some injector cleaner or something.. does that stuff work? Thanks

........does your car shake like mad a lights? if it does, one of your cylinders is out. yes, the injector cleaner works. I would suggest you buy the high concentrated stuff. Can you please explain in more detail what's up w/ your car? clutch may be bad, fuel filter, fuel pump, etc. give me some more info.

it runs perfectly 99% of the time.. it does it atleast 1 time per drive, but i dont think its ever done it twice.. it happens when i'm idle for a long time(over 1 minute etc..) i sorta feel when its gonna happen cause the rpms drop a little, then when i try to take off it sputters(like i'm running on 3 cyl.) for about 2 seconds(it goes away faster if i rev it up) need any other info? thanks

no, it doesnt shake(only a little when the rpms drop to 850, but it goes away in a couple of seconds)

Ive seen a lot of hondas do that only when its in long term idle. The choke kicks in and out ... Thinks its going to stall out then chokes it and brings back up rpms. d
