Default Tranny/Clutch Problem - happend last night

How's it going gents.

Alright - last night, i was racing as i always do.

On the way to shifting to 4th gear, my gear kinda got stuck half way in gear - and my car revved to atleast 10,000 and stayed there until i got it out of the gear.

Here's the thing.

My car goes into gear when the car is off. Its hard getting into first when the car is off though.

When the car is running - i can't get it into first.......so i have to put it in first before i start the car.

I can shift, but its kinda difficult getting into gears. I have to rev match it before it will go in.

Since the clutch is working obviously - i'm going to rule out the master cylinder.
Since the clutch isn't stuck to the floor, i'm going to rule out the slave

I'm really thinking pressure plate or throwout bearing.

What does everyone else think?

Its driveable, barely.

Oh, the clutch is only a couple months old.
It was an xtd 6 puck ceramic w/pressure plate and what not.

I don't think its the tranny because i can get into gear fairly easily when the car is off. Just first gear is a bitch to get in.

sounds just like my problem. and the pic looks just like my clutch. what kinda clutch is that kenlude? i happen to have an ebay oem exedy and mine is expletived.

like i said before: if there are no leaks in the master and slave cylinder, and you see then when the clutch is pushed in the slave cylinder has full movement, then it MUST be either flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, or transaxle. more than likely, it's what everyone else is saying and is the spring popped out of the clutch. the spring gets in the way and doesn't let the clutch disengage. this basically allows you to drive but without a clutch. that's why you must rev match to shift up AND down.

sprung

Nope. Engine is just fine.

Oh, i think its the pressure plate still. I took the car out for a drive yesterday, and found out that I can shift without using the clutch. So, i'm thinking it has to be the pressure plate or TOB. I doubt the disc is shredded or anything - but i guess its a possibility. we will know soon enough.
