Yes it's ok, nothing to worry about. But why not a switch instead? a hidden switch makes it a little bit more comfortable... I know the feeling of not really knowing something and wondering if it's ok or not, but it is trust me.

im going to install swtiches as well now that i converted my car to manual i know people are going to want it in my neighborhood, im also going to install a hood lcok

you don't want to be disconnecting that all the time. eventually you will break something or wear it out... and you don't want your main relay to die on you on your way to work or something.

1.) Install a switch .

2.) install an alarm

There was another write up on how to theft-proof a civic, but I can't find it right now..

it talked about how to protect your civic from being slimjimed, to installing remote batteries and alarms and all kinds of good things...

fuel pump switches iginition kills,, etc.
