Stock injector size, same through different series??
Are the injector sizes the same for d and b series motors? (240 cc)
My car has only run semi properly since the swap. The only way that it is driveable, is if the fuel return line after the regulator is pinched off. I thought it was a bad regulator, but that has been switched with a known working one. I am currently running an LS fuel rail with d16 injectors on an LS obd2 intake. I pulled the motor out of an integra when it was running fine, so I suspect it has to be something that was changed during the swap.(the motor came out of a 1990 integra, so everything was switched to obd0, I had to switch it back to obd2). The motor is a 1997 B20B in a 1997 Civic DX hatch with the original fuel pump. OK, now solve my problem.

well, i am not 100% positive of this, but I remember hearing that obd2 sohc injectors are 180 or 190cc. I know 92-95 and all integra are 240cc.
Also, single cam and LS fuel pumps both flow the same. dohc vtec motors have a higher flowing pump. Perhaps the b20 uses the vtec pump?
Also, how is the car not running right? Sputtering, hesitation, lack of power? Is it pinging at all?

Well, I have to say you first statement on the injector sizes is correct. I just switched out the injectors and rail from a GSR top end that I had. It now is a world of difference.
What it was doing was idling terrible, no power (until about 5000rpm), and driveability itself was just terrible. If I drove on the interstate and got off, it would want to die and it was hard to get moving. It ran alot better when it was cold. It seemed like it was starving the whole time. I really doubted it was the pump because of the rate of flow, and a B20 isn't exactly a performance motor.
While I was waiting for responses, I swapped the injectors and fuel rail. Instantly the idle was a lot better and the power was there as well. The stock civic injectors are green on the bottom, whereas the integra's were orange. That was the only difference I noticed. Even the pintle size looked the same.
Anyway, I fixed it myself and made a pointless topic about it. 743power,Thanks for responding.
