gsr 85mm rs sleeves good for turbo or what
hey i have a friend who has a gsr 85 mm rs sleeved block wit 85 mm cp piston. someone told him that his block was not good for his turbo project so i wanna get more info about that
me personally i would stay away from it. 85mm gives you no room for error. if anything happens, you have no room left to bore.

well it all comes down to this, is the block fresh from the machine shop?
are you gonna pay full price for block and sleeves?
if the block is used and your gettin it for cheap, then you can make some nice tq/hp on some high compression pistons. but make sure you got a good reliable tuner, because there's very little room for error.
imo- if your payin full prices then stay away, your better off startin off with 82 or 83mm.

some people have great results running 85mm bore but me personally i had problems left and right. always going threw head gaskets for 1.
i would start with a fresh sleeved 83mm block and have 2-3 more builds left out of the block.know what i mean???
