Default the i'm rediculously happy post, please read!!

ok, sorry if this doesent belong here but expletive it, im rediculously happy, and ill explain why. during my turbo install, which still isnt completed, i was install my block t fitting from tuner toyz. whihc i was tightening it up, it had both fittings in so i had more leveage and i noticed it kind of wouldnt get tight, but i left it as it is. i then read some posts about people stripping the secotion the oil pressure switch goes and how it will be a bitch to fix, tap, helicoil, and may crack the block. so ever since then about 2 weeks ago, ive had in the bakc of my mind, what if i expletive this up, what if i stripped this, will it leak?? will the heat expland and crack the block?? ive just been a mess thinknig about it, as much as i knew it wasnt a problem and as much as ive been trying to forget about it, i just couldnt get it out of my mind. so about 10 minutes ago, about 2:10am, i went outside under my car with a flashlight a bunch of tools to see if this thing was fucked up. i removed the necessary bolts and hardware and it was time to remove my block t to see if it was stripped. i turned and turned and it came out, and NO STRIPPED THREADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im rediculousl happy about this. more then you could ever imagine(the reason im posting this stupid *** post lol). its such a sigh of relief. tomorrow, im going to re-teflon **** back up and hook it back up. comment please on my happiness lol, and please post times you were redculously happy. thanks for reading.

ahh, so uve seen my posts before lol. i got a decent setup now working, i have a 90 degree fitting that is facing 45degress and im pretty sure it work work, it took 3 times to get that ***** to where it would work, im pretty sure it will. i knoe a 45 degree fitting is ideal, but 90 is the best i could do and hot oil will flow fairly well through it i believe. thanks for looking out.
post more~

they make 45s degress, but im not talking about a hose end. my oil return goes liek this, a tube flange on the turbo to the line, a stright hose fitting then to the 90 degree fitting on the pan, but fitting on the pan, is at a 45 degree andle so it flows easily, well im not SURE, but im pretty usre itll work, i havent started the car yet
itlooks pretty damn angles because of the photo

would have been harder if the threads were stripped. becuase i would have had to fix it for my well being or else i wouold always worry. and ive been strippin gbolts lately so i need to watch my ***. from now on, whenever im tightening a bolt, i will remember "block t fitting threads" and ease up on the tightening lol

I have been catching up on your posts I, Glad everything is working for you especially the oil fitting. Now make sure sure you really seal that fitting, tends to leak there quite a bit of not sealed properly. see if you can use some RTV sealer.

Anyways Good luck on the rest of the set up

well jnasty, the fitting i have is a toner toys fitting. the oil pressure sensor thread is a bspt (british standard pipe thread). its tapered so once you get it in hand tight, 1 more turn and its sealed.plus i use teflon tape whenever i can
and as for the others who have noticed the long posts.what can i say, i liek to type stories. wait till i get some good numbers at the track, ill write a book lol
