Default High Idle!!

I have a skunk2 68mm tb. On start up my car idles around 1100 rpm, once the car is warmed and I drive down the street the idle raises up to around 1500rpm. If I tap the gas real quick the idles drops down to 1100rpm and then proceeds to go back to 1500rpm. I checked the voltage on the tps sensor and at closed it reads .45, WOT its only at 3.6 volts. I also tried putting my finger on the this hole and it idled perfectly fine. Is my tps sensor bad? Or what is the problem.

Well, check it out...it probably goes to something that's not hooked up (FITV for example) and it's causing a vacuum leak.

What I'm saying is find out where that hole goes to and plug it up....that's what I would do.

There aren't any unplugged lines from the manifold I replaced them and still same. Is there a way I could check to see if the IACV is still good?

Well since it's an 92 it ahs the same plunger screw t oadjust the idle...since you already did this...the only thing I can think of is to put the stock TB back on and see if that solves the problem...I'm kinda stumped too???

i have this similar problem on my prelude and rather than creat another thread im posting in this one.

i got a 92 S with JDM H22A, (stock jdm h22 throttle body) i/h/e, throttle body spacer, throttle body coolant bypass (http://www.92lude.com/coolant_bypass.htm). my idle has been normal (700-800) since day 1 of the swap (1 year ago) until my throttle body got gunked up and we pulled it and cleaned it the day we put in the spacer. its still been normal since then though. yesterday out of nowhere i start my car and drive around (everything is normal) and stop at a light and its idling at 1500! i have no idea what to think since its been fine all this time until just now. i checked the throttle cable thinking it was to tight but it actually had slack in it.

sorry to steal the thread from you Linh. but i need to know too and didnt want flamed for making a new thread.

The first thing to do is take that POS out and throw it away.
