Default AEM wide band question

I just got a aem gauge type wide band and want to install it. Do I need to disengauge the o2 heater to avoid a cell. And do I need to switch the gauge to p4 to switch the out put to 1v. And which wire do I plug into the ECU.

What car are you putting this in?

Do you have the AEM EMS or some other stand-along engine management system?

you need to install an o2 bung before the cat and then screw the o2 into it.

I am running the stock p72 JDM ecu and I am now running the AEM wide band on setting p4 to simulate the output of a narrow band (0-1v) to the ecu. Everything is woking great but I am getting a cell for O2 sensor heater. What I want to do is put in a resistor (or what ever works) to simulate the heater and get rid of the cell to go through emitions. This will be a temporary measure until I get my ecu chipped and turn off the O2 heater.
