Default Quickest Way to 12s/13s?

Whatsup guys..

Haven't been checking these boards recently have been working on my SW20 MR2 Turbo project but i'm back. Anyhow, i've got my daily driver ek coupe i'm trying work on now, definitly all motor so i'm going to swap out the d16y8.

Now my question is what is the easiest way to do high 12s or at the least low 13s with a swap (like i said all motor only). B18c/B18c5? jdm B16a Heavy Mods? B18c1? Or how about a K-series? And where can i get a k-swap done in the north east?

I've got Around 6 to 7,000.00 to play with as of now, thanks.

-Brian

When the k-swaps were just becoming hott i knew of one place in florida that did great work; hybrid something? ...anybody know of any good shops now? Thanks.

why does it have to be quick? why not read up and research and do it yourself...you will pay probably around 2 grand in labor alone because of the exstensive work going into a k20 swap. then you look at like 500-600 for moutns, another 500-600 for axles, the clutch line setup, the fuel setup, k-pro, sending the harness off to get it to where it will work, not to mention the 4500-5000 for the swap(price from like passwordjdm, or hmotorsonline.com)

to be honest, 6 or 7k wont get you a k20 in your ek coupe, UNLESS you do the work yourself.
