Default d16z6 questions

I've got a 91 CRX that I'm putting a d16z6 from a 96 Civic in. I had one for a 95 Civic in it go bad on me. I've got the p28 ecu from the 95 motor already in the car and everything else for that matter(including motor). My question is would it be possible to convert the 96 motor to work with the p28 ecu/wire harness? Or do I need to figure something else out?

well a 96 civic ex should have a d16y8 not z6. the y8 is obd2. i think u can just use the old wiring harness and change out little stuff to keep it obd1 right? like injectors, dizzy, and alternator

Yes, it is a d16y8. I heard that changing the injectors and some other things will allow me to keep it obd1, but I don't know what exactly.

Another question I have is will the transmission and stuff I have from my z6 still bolt to the y8 easy enough? Also, will the y8 fit the motor mounts from the z6 without modifications?

I've got a 6 puck race clutch and a light-weight flywheel from the d16z6, will those fit the d16y8 motor?
