99 si keeps breaking ECU's

Default 99 si keeps breaking ECU's

Does anybody know what the hell is going on with my 99 si , I've broken three,yea that's right three ECU's in the past nine months.The car will be running fine,then all of the sudden it spits and sputters then nothing.I just put a p06 ecu in it.It works good so far,but idles eractly up and down. Is it a short?Map sensor?Main relay?PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP!!!

Regarding the eractly up and down idle is because of the P06. I know because I haD the same problem with that ECU and I swapped in a P2T and now its idle'n perfectly.

injectors can destroy them too..
are you getting any cel?

check engine light... are you using the RIGHT ecu?

P06 can be program to run B16 mind you.

Is the Po6 chipped or is it stock? If its stock it probably will not run right since the 99 si is a dohc vtec motor. If it is chipped, what type of program are you running?
